Each workshop will be held at ETV in Columbia from 8:30am - 3:30 pm with an hour break for lunch on your own. Participants will receive a certificate for 6 hours of training that can be turned in to their district PD coordinator. No direct recertification credits will be issued. Tune in May 30th as ETV celebrates teachers with a special program featuring segments with finalists for our new SC Teacher of the Year and profiles of other outstanding South Carolina educators. Hosted by Dr. Lemuel Watson, USC professor and Executive Director of the Center for Innovation in Higher Education, this program will celebrate South Carolina educators as they share their passion for teaching and talk about the changes and challenges in public education today. And, we’ll hear from a variety of folks about special teachers who inspired them!
Also, did you know that at www.carolinaclassrooms.org you have access to not only the broadcast programs that have aired on SCETV, but also short stories on a variety of education topics from around our state that showcase our innovative students and dedicated educators!
