Students, classes, and teachers are chosen at random to be recognized and celebrated for demonstrating one of our five character traits - Pride, Respect, Individual Responsibility, Determination & Empathy. Thank you to all of the Titus families for your support of our Paws for PRIDE program.
Attention Veterans!
We have added an oral history component to our Wall of Honor that goes up in November so that our students can share in the history of our military family members. If you (or your military family member) are interested in recording for our oral history project, please click here to sign-up. Please use the interview prompts on the flier that came home this week to prepare for your recording session.

Box Tops Are BACK!!!
One of the great ways our school earns money for our Home and School Association is by collecting Box Tops. You can find the box tops on many household products. They are easy to collect - please just make sure to tear off the entire box top including the expiration date. For every box top turned in our school earns $0.10. They really do add up and have helped pay for some great things for our students. We encourage all families to please collect and feel free to ask friends, families, and neighbors to help us earn extra money for our school.
We have some super incentives to get the students involved too. Every month we count and collect the box tops and submit them. The class who turns in the highest amount for the month receives special recognition and a certificate to proudly display. At the end of the year the class that turns in the most box tops for the school year gets a Rita's Water Ice Party. We also hold a contest for the combined months of January and February. For every 10 box tops a class submits they receive a raffle ticket. The more box tops submitted the better the chances. Then myself and Dr. Cashman go on the morning announcements and randomly select the winning class...they win a Make Your Own Ice Cream Sundae party! Students and Teachers really get into collecting and who wouldn't want one of those sweet parties?! So...place a ziploc bag or receptacle in a collection spot at home to easily put those little box tops in and start collecting. Students can bring them in as they accumulate. Thank you in advance for helping make our school even more awesome!
September's Box Top Results - Thank you to everyone who turned in Box Tops this month. We collected a total of 3,311 Box Tops. A big Congratulations to Miss Anderson's 6th grade class for turning in the most Box Tops with a total of 416! Our Rita's Water Ice Contest standings are as follows:
- 1st place - Miss Anderson's 6th grade class (416)
- 2nd place - Miss Spohn's 3rd grade class (276)
- 3rd place - Mr. Lesher's 4th grade class (265)
- 4th place - Mrs. Meehan's 3rd grade class (239)
If you would like to help count box tops and have your volunteer clearances please feel free to email Melissa Kenyon at missakenyon@yahoo.com and I'll add you to my list. Thank you!
