Community Connections - Save the Date
Dear Titus Elementary School Families,
Please join me in the Titus library on Monday, January 7 from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. for “Community Connections,” one of a series of parent meetings scheduled to take place in each of our schools.
These meetings are designed to encourage frank conversations about our shared vision for the future of our schools. I hope you can find time to attend; I look forward to hearing your feedback and ideas.
A video introduction can be seen on the website homepage at www.cbsd.org/communityconnections. I hope to see you on January 7!
Stay Well,

The 2018 Kickball Champions Are . . .
What a great, competitive year 2018 Kickball in 3rd and 4th grade was! We needed extra innings to find our new champions, the Lazer Chomps, thanks to Nate Kaz’s walk-off homerun. They celebrated the win with a team pizza party! Great job to all of the participants.
Congratulations!

Gotta Love Those Spirit Days!
It Is Almost That Time!!!
Planning for the 2019 iRun4Life season has begun! With my youngest child entering his last year at Titus, I'm looking for someone who might be interested in taking over this program in 2020. I'm reaching out now as I'd like to start transitioning the position this year. If you would like to learn more, please contact Beth Bell.
Here's to another great season!

Toys for Tabor - A HUGE Success
We just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who donated and participated in the “Toys For Tabor” holiday collection this year.
Once again, the outpouring of support and generosity from our South Side community was overwhelming. We collected nearly 500 gifts for Tabor Children’s Services. To give you a visual, we managed to fill an entire room at Tabor House with our donations which covered ALL age groups…from toys to warm winter clothes, appliances, college care packages, gift cards, and bedding…it was a sea of donations!
Once again, the staff at Tabor House, who always looks forward to our donations, were blown away by the generosity of our community. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything you did, and continue to do, to make this a successful event each year. Most importantly, thank you for making this holiday season a memorable one for these kids. It truly takes a village, and I can’t imagine a better village to be a part of!

Winter Enrichment is Coming!
Winter Enrichment is a wonderful after-school program that runs for 5-6 weeks from mid-January to the end of February. This program gives students an exciting opportunity to explore something new. We will be offering a variety of fun activities such as; sewing, chess, sports, cooking, sculpture, and Lego building. Classes will be open to students from 1st-6th grade. Each class will specify which grade level is eligible to sign up. Prices vary from class to class. Most classes will run from 3:30-4:30pm with a few exceptions that will run slightly longer. Keep a look out for more information to come! Registration will be on a first come, first serve basis!
