  • The Duchess of Sussex attended a baby shower held in her honor in New York City last week.

  • Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten just shared footage of the dessert display on Instagram

  • Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan will hold a second baby shower in the U.K. later this spring.

Although Meghan Markle's "private, intimate" baby shower took place in Serena Williams' room at The Mark Hotel in New York last week, video footage from inside the event just made its way to social media. Fan account @when_harry_met_meghan captured an Instagram story from Jean-Georges Vongerichten, the chef behind The Mark Restaurant, which shows the sweet treats baked for the royal occasion.

The Instagram post offered a quick overview of the desert spread, which featured cute baby-themed designs: cake pops shaped like a white stork with a baby wrapped in a green blanket (Meghan and Harry have not publicly revealed the gender of their first child, hence why there is no obvious blue or pink theme), adorable bunny-shaped cookies with bow ties, and sugar cookies shaped like a bib with the word "baby." There were even fun-sized five-layer carrot cake slices, and a tower of peach and green macarons stood alongside ombré pink-and-white balls (perhaps cake pops) and multicolor floral arrangements.

We also spied both vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with green, white, and pink frosting on top.

The focal point of the spread is a two-tiered cake covered in what looks like edible pearls and gold-tone accents. It boasts an adorable cake topper featuring Meghan and Harry as they look down at their baby, who lies in a posh white stroller.

As BAZAAR.com exclusively reported last week, Williams and Markle's best friend Genevieve Hillis hosted the party. Makeup artist Daniel Martin (who gave Meghan her wedding day glam), Amal Clooney, Gayle King, and Abigail Spencer also attended the celebration, where guests participated in a flower arrangement session. The final creations were donated to Repeat Roses per the duchess's request. The organization provides flowers to hospitals, hospices, nursing homes, and homeless shelters.

Duchess Meghan will also have a second baby shower in the U.K. later this spring.
