This is the only coffee shop I don't feel bad about spending $7 on a latte for because it's JUST THAT GOOD.

I love the Butterscotch latte. It's so flavorful but not overwhelming. They make it perfect every time. It makes me feel nice and warm inside.

It's the perfect place to grab coffee with friends- if you walk up the stairs there are pretty stained glass windows with seating all around. It's so nice and calm in there

I just visited for the first time recently. There was a great vibe inside with lots of people hanging out, studying, working, reading, etc. I was pleased to see how much space there is to sit inside.

The pastries looked delicious, but I only ordered a chai tea latte. I can't remember the last time I had tea in a real cup, so that was super fun!

I was disappointed because the tea was cold when I got it. I'm not sure what happened, but it was not pleasant to drink. I didn't notify anyone, but I'm sure they would have fixed it.

I would definitely come back and try something else.

I was really excited to try this place considering it has such glorious ratings but I was tad bit disappointed with my visit. Coat Check Coffee is located in the historic Athenaeum on Mass Ave which is a very upscale neighbourhood. This place was pretty crowded and getting seats was quite difficult. Some seating arrangements are kinda weird considering it's right next to Restrooms.
I ordered a Pistachio Latte with almond milk which I have to say was very good and unique in its taste. I also ordered a Vegan breakfast sandwich without the impossible sausage as I don't really like impossible meat. My sandwich had Vegan cheese and Just eggs. It also had jalapeño jam which I am not really fond of. What I found a bit odd was that this place offers sandwiches but they don't have any condiments. When asked for ketchup or hot sauce, the barista was kinda rude as if it was a sin to ask for it. We also had a Pumpkin Chai muffin which complemented the Latte.
Overall, the location is great, and you should check out local stores on Mass Ave when visiting. I may not visit this place again but will recommend Lattes, can surely skip food!

Cool little coffee shop in the foyer of Athenaeum. Lots of spaces to get work done or just hang out. Coffee was great and the service was excellent. Lacks the ambiance of a place like Chalet (RIP) or Parlor but still a nice spot to stop for a latte.
Maybe a side note, but do all of the coffee shops in town have the same menu? I thought the pistachio latte at Chalet was so cool, then I saw it at provider, and it's here at Coat check. What's up with that?

A wonderful Sunday morning spent with an excellent cup of coffee. The guy next to me sleeping and aggressively snoring was inconvenient but that's life I guess. Not the vibe I was going for but I still really enjoyed my cuppa.

Coat Check Coffee I happened to stumble upon on a quick Yelp search and I'm so glad I did. I was in Indianapolis for less than 24 hours and I went twice! Staff was super friendly, it's a super chill vibe inside. I highly recommend the matcha latte and the cold brew. The cold brew was super strong kept me going all day for my event! Whenever I'm back in Indy I'll stop by again.

Was looking for a nice cafe near my hotel when I was in Indy for work and I was so pleasantly surprised at how cute this cafe was! There was a variety of seating and unfortunately, I didn't look around but it looked like there was an art exhibit going on upstairs as well! I loved my Butterscotch Latte and biscuit with jalapeño jelly...like a lot I can't wait to go back to try more of their unique drinks and hopefully explore more of the building!

Loved this spot in Indianapolis for great coffee and delicious breakfast sandwiches. The everything croissant/danish was a bit too salty for me. Also love the historic building!!

Coat check coffee is not like your typical coffee shop, they have delicious espresso. It is a little more expensive than some of Indy's other coffee shops, but all their syrups are housemade

My husband and I both got flat whites and they were perfect. The atmosphere is very cute, it's a theatre. There are seats upstairs as well. Ordered and got our coffee very quickly.
