      Late post: Brunched here 9.15.2019

Mimosas with friends... Started off with Grapefruit Mimosas & ended with a traditional one(my personal fav)... Soo good! If you like Mimosas this place is.for.you! Since it was raining we weren't able to take advantage of their patio seating... However, the ambience of this establishment is pretty great, I wasn't too disappointed, there really isn't a bad seat.
We ordered Rise & Shine Flatbread and Carne Asada Tacos... The tacos were phenomenal! I'll definitely be ordering them again. My friends were raving about the Flatbread, you probably can't go wrong with that either, but I was already too in love with the tacos to give it a try... I didn't want to risk disappointing my tastebuds- ha.
I recently heard a rumor that this location is closing soon... I REALLY hope it is a rumor, just Incase it is true... if you're reading this you better go soon, while you still can!

I really enjoyed my dinner here! The Brussels sprouts were AMAZING and delightfully crisp and caramelized. The wine-inspired cocktail I had here was very refreshing. While the fish in the fish and chips was pretty bland, the fries were crisp and well-seasoned. One of my friends highly recommended the beignets, which where superb. They were warm and gooey and served with a great rum butter sauce. Proceeds for them go to the Riley Children's Hospital.

As a side note, you will pay to park. The parking garage is right across the street.

Another side note--this place has adorable bathrooms. I love the funky flamingo design and the chandelier.

Went for brunch, shared a mimosa pitcher with my boyfriend, it was pretty good. I got the avocado toast and it was ok, egg was no running, a little over cooked. Wasn't very busy on a Sunday morning. The bathrooms are unisex and super clean and cute. I wasn't blown away but I may come back and try some wine.

Service was ok, had to ask for water multiple times.

When I recently visited my big brother in Indiana, this California girl was dying from lack of decadent food and a cool place to hang out. Thank God Louie came into my life. He truly made my trip to Indianapolis memorable. This place came highly recommended by locals.

This place is spacious, causal yet trendy joint. They have friendly and attentive staff. The food here are bursting with deliciousness. You can taste the freshness and in the quality of their food. Also, the waiter is great in recommending harmonious pairing of my food/wine.

This wine bar is California girl approved. It definitely satisfied my insatiable appetite. Thanks Louie for a great and fun night. You definitely will be on my stop on my next visit

So I am really torn about my review. I'm torn because I'm not sure if the food I had today was representative of their usual meal or if it was because many in the party ordered from the devour menu. Louie's Wine and Dive in Broad Ripple is a great spot for friends and family to have drinks as their wine selection is broad and they offer some good beers as well.

The interior is nice with a large oval bar with plenty of seating for large groups and small tables for more intimate situations. The decor is fresh and warm and inviting.

Service was wonderful. We had a great waitress that was helpful and understanding and very timely.

The food was flavorful, but the portion size left less to be desired. The devour menu did include appetizer meal and dessert but many of us was still hungry after was was provided. The roasted brussel sprouts was everyone favorite. The bignet was ok...not very fluffy in texture and much too sweet.

Overall I may return if invited but it wouldn't be my first choice when choosing a group dinner.

      Louie, Louie!

Louie's Wine Dive is a great spot right at the tip of prime Broad Ripple real estate. Snugged in at the corner of Broad Ripple and College Avenues, it greets you as you enter or exit the main BR corridor. I'm a fan of Louie's brunch menu, although the disappearance of bottomless mimosas did make me lower my rating, a bit. I've visited Louie's downtown location, as well, and I must say the Broad Ripple location is much cleaner and more appealing.

The food is good, but I wouldn't go so far as to say superb. My friends and I enjoyed the caprese salad and the chicken sandwich on the brunch menu during our last visit. Both were super flavorful and beautifully presented.

I did notice a lack of guests during my last visit at Louie's. When i inquired to the wait staff, they seemed to be unsure about what was causing the noticeable dearth of patronage on a fairly pleasant Saturday afternoon. There was regular traffic up and down Broad Ripple avenue, but Louie's seemed to exist within an invisible bubble that patrons kept passing. I'd be curious to know what's keeping people from Louie's.

My personal experience was that of good food, and good service - I wonder if that rings true for everyone.

Amazing brunch food and nearly bottomless mimosas...this place is a win! I came around Noon on a Saturday and to my surprise there weren't many people in the restaurant. That made me a little nervous since it was prime brunch time, but I'm glad that didn't deter me.

Get the HONEY BUTTER CHICKEN SANDWICH! The cinnamon honey butter on the bread, oh my gawd. It was so delicious and such a perfect touch!!! I couldn't put it down, had to finish it all. The traditional mimosa was great as well. The ONLY downside were the beignets. I spend a lot of time in Louisiana so I rarely order french/cajun foods outside of there, but the waiter really talked it up so I went for it. The beignets were mostly hollow and very doughy in the middle, not like a beignet should be. No one in my group liked them. If I hadn't of ordered them my review would have easily been 5 stars :(

It was a perfect morning to sit out on their deck and enjoy great food and a nice breeze. My husband and I both got the old school Bloody Mary. (We like getting ours extra spicy) SO GOOD.

I got the breakfast flatbread. Loved the house made sausage. Definitely a dish you could split with someone in my opinion.

My husband got the smoked salmon toast and he said it was some of the best he's ever had. He loved the bread the salmon came on.

Our server was a rockstar. I wish I could remember her name but she had all of the tables outside and everything came out very quickly.

I've been to the Louie's wine dive downtown and didn't have the best experiences. So I wasn't the biggest fan when I found out that there was a location opening up in ripple. I finally decided to try it for brunch after church one day and I'm so mad at myself for waiting so long to try it.

First of all, the service was awesome. I'm used to waiting to be seated if I'm visiting a place around 1pm on a Sunday but we were seated right away. The server was attentive throughout our visit always checking on us and refilling out mimosas.

My friend and I split an order of beignets which were just okay. They seemed like dough on the inside. For the main course, I ordered French toast which was delicious.

They also had an almost unlimited mimosa bar. You pay a flat rate for the mimosas but each additional glass is like $1. Pretty good deal.

I'll be back to try this spot again for lunch or dinner.

Wonderful brunch experience here! It was my first time in and I was very impressed with the food quality. Really excellent choices and everything I read sounded delicious.

I decided on the breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, bacon jam and mayo. It was amazing! That bacon jam is something else in the best way.

The only thing I was disappointed in were my fries. They were shoestring which I normally absolutely love but these were slightly cold and soggy. To be fair I didn't bring it up to the server and I'm sure he would have gotten me some fresh ones. The service was very good!
