MCDOT's Commuter Services Sponsors WABA City Cycling Classes

You still have two more opportunities to take City Cycling classes MCDOT is sponsoring in conjunction with the Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA). City Cycling classes are a fun way to feel more confident about using bikes as a regular form of transportation in urban settings. MCDOT is sponsoring four classes in October and November.

 

The classes in Montgomery County will be held on:

•             October 28 - Rockville, Rockville Swim & Fitness Center. 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

•             November 3 - Friendship Heights, Geico Parking Lot, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

 

Cyclists will learn specific bike handling skills before hopping on their bikes for a ride. Instructors will discuss situational tips for riding on busy roads, bike paths and trails. See the WABA website for more information.
