Additional League Rules Setup

Additional League Rules
This is a H2H, points based league that uses Victory Points in the standings. This will be a superflex league with team defense. Tight end scoring is premium (please see scoring setup).
And you must name your team after a CHARACTER from the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES

Schedule
14 week regular season. Play each other once. No divisions.

Standings
We use a Victory Points setting for the standings and are ranked for the most to the least. It helps mitigate some of the randomness of just your regular wins and losses.
Victory Points for a WIN -  2 VP
Victory Points for a TIE - 1 VP
Victory Points for a LOSS - 0 VP
Victory Points For Top 4 Weekly Point Total: 2
Victory Points For Middle 6 Weekly Point Total: 1
Victory Points For Bottom 4 Weekly Point Total: 0

Rosters
Rosters will be made up of 34 players consisting of 12 starters and 22 reserves.  Starters will be 1-2 QB, 2-4 RB, 3-5 WR, 2-4 TE, 1-2 team DEF. With a minimum of 31 active players.

Off-Season Rosters
Off-season roster size will be 34 players.
IR spots must be cleared by the end of the NFC and AFC conference championship games. If not cleared then commissioner may drop any players on IR without question or reversal.

Off-Season Trades
Trading will open after week 17 is over. League fees must be paid for the next season in order to trade in the offseason.

Injured Reserve
Each team can place up to 6 players on their IR list. You may put a player that is designated IR or Out on Injured Reserve.

Keepers
This is a dynasty league. You will/may keep all the players on your roster from year to year. You will build your team through trades, free agents/waivers, pickups, etc., and of course the annual rookie draft after the first season’s initial draft.

Starting Lineups
Each week, owners will submit their starting lineup to be used for that week's game.  Owners are responsible for submitting a legal lineup each week.  If an owner fails to submit a lineup for a particular week, the system will use the previous week's lineup. Keep in mind that if you fail to change your lineup and players are on bye week or injured, then those players will be carried forward and scoring for those players will be zero. If an owner consistently fails to keep up with their lineup, this will affect the integrity of the league and owner will be subject to dismissal/replacement without refund (see penalties near the bottom).

Waivers/Add Drops
Once an owner has paid their league entry fee, they will have the ability to do drops and then later on, when waivers are active, perform waiver transactions. We will be using Blind Bidding for waivers with a budget of $200. After the current week's blind waivers run, it will be first come, first served. The league calendar should be looked at/used to guide you as to how our waivers work. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
***NOTE***  All teams will have ability to do waivers until the start of week 16 (championship week).
Waiver order to after our inaugural draft will be ranked based on Average pick time. If there is tie, it will be who had the most picks in the draft. If still tied, will be a coin toss to settle it.

League Fees/Dues
League entry fee is $125. Fees are due no later than 4/1 of each year. If fees are not paid by the due date, the owner may be replaced without further notice.
***Note that no trading/trades will be allowed until league fees are paid for the upcoming year.***

Playoffs
The standard regular season will last 14 weeks, with the playoffs in weeks 15 through 17.
The top 7 teams in this league will make those playoffs.
In Week 15, the top seed will get a bye. Seeds 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6 & 4 vs 5 will face off.

From there on it will always be the top seed vs the lowest seed remaining if the top seed does not choose.
The top seed in each round will have the option to pick their opponent.

Week 17 will be the last 2 teams. The winner will be the Champion

Toilet Bowl Playoffs
The toilet bowl playoffs will be for bottom 7 teams, ranked by Victory points.
In Week 15, the top seed (seed #8) will get a bye. Seeds 9 vs 14, 10 vs 13 & 11 vs 12 will face off.
From there on it will always be the top seed vs the lowest seed remaining if the top seed does not choose.
The top seed in each round will have the option to pick their opponent.
Week 17 will be the last 2 teams. The winner will be the Toilet Bowl Winner

    Draft Order/Draft

Draft order will be set at random by the league site. It will be a snake style draft. The draft will be an extended/email draft, with a 6 hour timer initially, that will shut off between 1am and 7am ET each night.  Timer will/may be adjusted as needed depending on how the draft is moving. Trading of draft picks will be allowed so long as league fees for that year are paid. Up to one year of future draft picks can be traded if future league fees have been paid.
We will be drafting rookie picks in, since this the inaguaral draft after the season ended and before the NFL draft.
So you can decide to pick a current NFL player or a draft slot (1.01 for example) in the draft. I have made 'fake' players so you can actually draft 1.01, etc

We will be running on a 4hr clock with a 6 hour stoppage night between 1am & 7am ET. Please predraft. Read below to see what happens if you miss a pick.

If during the draft the timer expires, your pick will be skipped and the draft will continue on. You will have until your next pick to notify the Commissioner of your replacement pick, which will be entered for you. If you do not notify the Commissioner before your next pick comes up, that pick will be forfeited. If the timer expires a 2nd time, then that is your 2nd warning. If it happens a 3rd time, your pick will be skipped and forfeited. If this happens a 4th time, your pick will be skipped and forfeited and your team will be subject to replacement without refund. Please do not allow the timer to expire!

Annual Rookie Draft
After the initial season, we will have an annual rookie draft consisting of 4 rounds. All players, rookies and free agents will be avaliable to be drafted. You must keep you roster valid at all times. This draft will be non-snake style and draft order will be determined by points possible for picks 1-7. Picks 8-14 will be determinded by final results of the playoffs.

Trades/Trading
Trades will be setup to be automatically processed. Please make sure that entry fee has been paid for next year. trading future picks will require future payment. Payment due at time of trade.
***Note that no trading/trades will be allowed until league fees are paid***
***Trade deadline is Sunday morning of Week 15 (1st sunday of the 1st week of the playoffs)***

Trading of Draft Picks
Trading of future year's picks is allowed assuming league entry fees for that year have been paid.
If you trade future 1st round pick - pay $100 of next year's entry fee
If you trade future 2nd or 3rd round pickspay $50 of next year's entry fee (one time fee)
If you trade your future 4th round pick - No payment needed

Trade will be set up as Commish review, only for the process to make sure draft picks traded, are paid for in leaguesafe before processing the trade. No other judgements will be withheld on the trade(s).
