Our Parent Testimonials

Very informative. This is great information that definitely should be shared with parents and students as early in their educational journey as possible.

T.B Cedar Hill High School, TX

The workshop was very informative, and I appreciate the inside informative shares on ways to save.

Sylvie O Iselin Middle School, NJ

Would recommend offering the course to all grade levels each year.

Jessica E. Cheltenham High School, PA

Very informative and definitely gave me things to think about for my high school freshman.

Robyn E. Lakeside High School, GA

Very informative. Left with a realistic understanding of what to expect as we roll into the season of college applications, financial aid, and scholarship applications. Should probably have attended one of these workshops a few years ago when my children were in 8th and 9th grades (currently they are 10th and 11th grades).

Tamara D. Gilbert Classical Academy, AZ

Very helpful, start this in 9th grade. Don't wait until senior year.

Jenny N. Calvary Christian High School, FL

Nice job! Lots of information.  I would highly recommend that you ask the schools to do a special presentation that targets Freshman Parents (maybe even a requirement lol) I wish I had some of this 4 years ago to be better prepared now that my child is a senior. For example, I wasn't aware there were scholarships for younger people ( K-10) and not just for Juniors/Seniors. Thanks for the info and your time.

Katherine F. Landstown High School, VA

Wow, you were right! You did give a wealth of information. I now feel knowledgeable about what's to come in four years and we need to take a look at where we are and where we need to be in four years when our oldest graduates. The plan starts now - thank you for the tools and motivation.

Monica P. Harris Road Middle School, NC

Great overview. It would be good to present this to incoming freshman parents also to give them 4 years to start planning. What I'm learning is it is never too early ... but you can be too late to save for college.

Daryl M. Centaurus High School, CO

We should have started earlier, but you gave great tips for places to look for extra money and how to know what we might need.  Thank you!

Dayna G. Erie High School, CO

The time of the event was reasonable, the length of the event was fair, and all topics for college were addressed in a timely manner. Overall it was a very informative event. Most importantly, we were provided with quality information regarding college along with multiple household scenarios and options to assist with funding College for families in any financial situation. I highly recommend this course for all parents planning their children's future in college.

Athena B. Mayde Creek High School, TX

Brock Jolly and Kareen Blake did an excellent job covering a complex topic in a way that was sensitive to its overwhelming nature. The overview was useful, and the effect of the presentation as a whole was that I left thinking I can do this, these resources will be so helpful, and when I have questions, now I have a great team of people to ask. Thank you!

 Anonymously, Katy ISD, TX

This was very eye-opening and gave our family more of an understanding of the college process, better preparation, the high overall expectations, opportunities, etc.  I really love your stories and taking real life situations to see what fits better depending on their financial situation. Thank you for sharing all your ideas and thoughts.

Jeana B Katy Junior High School, TX

Jonathan was knowledgeable, efficient and engaging. He clearly has so much information to share and was excited to share it.

Gianni F. The Gregory School, AZ

I have attended this workshop for several years and it is interesting to see the changes for this year versus previous years.  Thank you for providing this wonderful workshop opportunity.

Celines R. Our Lady of Good Counsel High School            , MD

This was a very informative and timely workshop. Thank you for helping educate us!

Mai N. South County High School, VA
